Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) formerly known as UPTU will conduct the UPSEE 2022 exam in order to provide UPTU Admission 2022. The admission to a large number of technical courses such as B.Tech , B.Pharma , BHMCT, MBA, MCA, BFAD etc. will be offered by AKTU through the UPSEE exam. Apart from the UPSEE Exam, the 15% seats in all private institutes will be filled under management quota, for which appearing in UPSEE Exam will not be compulsory.
Candidates aspiring for UPTU Admission 2022 will be able to access the online application form through the official website in the month of January 2022 tentatively. UPTU 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The Eligibility Criteria for UPTU Admission 2022 will be different for all the courses as given below:
For UG Courses ( B.Tech/ B.Des./ B.Arch./B.Pharma. / B.HMCT/ BFAD/ BFA/ MBA (Integrated)/ MCA (Integrated)
Nationality
- All Indian Nationals, NRIs, Foreign Nationals, Persons with Indian Origin can apply.
Age Limit
- There will be no age limit to apply.
Educational Qualification
- The applicants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam obtaining a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) with subject combinations as given below.

Note: For B.Arch Course the Minimum marks required for UPTU Admission 2021 will be 50% (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate.
For Postgraduate Courses (MBA/MCA)
For MBA
- For the admission to 1st year of MBA, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST).
For MCA
- Candidates having a Bachelors degree with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST) and passed 10+2 or graduation with Mathematics subject will be eligible for UPTU MCA Admission 2021.
Note: The Age and Nationality Criteria for PG courses will be similar to that of UG courses.
UPTU Lateral Entry 2022 Eligibility Criteria
A direct UPTU 2022 admission to 2nd year of B.Tech, MCA and B.Pharma courses will be given to candidates fulfilling the below mentioned eligibility criteria.
For Lateral Entry to B.Tech
- The candidates who have passed a three years diploma in engineering with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) from an institute in UP will be eligible for lateral entry to B.Tech courses.
- The candidates having 3 years B.Sc degree with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) after passing 12th with mathematics can also apply for UPTU B.Tech lateral Entry Admission 2021.
- In case the candidate hasn’t passed qualifying exam from UP, then the parent’s of the candidate must have a Domicile of UP.
For Lateral Entry to MCA course
- The applicant must have passed 3 years graduation i.e. BCA , B.Sc (Computer Science/IT) with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) and must have cleared Mathematics exam at 10+2 or graduation level.
For Lateral Entry to B.Pharm course
- UPTU Admission 2021 to second year (lateral entry) of B.Pharm course will be given to the candidates having 2 or 3 years diploma in pharmacy with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST Candidates).
- The candidate must have passed qualifying exam from UP or the parents of candidate must have a domicile of UP.
Note: The candidates appearing in the Qualifying exam will also be eligible to apply. But such candidates should fulfill the eligibility criteria before the document verification process.
UPTU Application Form 2022
The application form for UPTU Admission 2022 will be made available online in the month of January 2022 through the official website http://www.upsee.nic.in. We will also provide a direct link to fill the application form on this page when available. In order to fill the UPTU 2022 application form, the candidates have to register them using a mobile number and email id.
In the application form, candidate has to provide all the mandatory educational and personal details and upload the scanned copy of recent passport size photograph and signature. After uploading the scanned images, candidates have to pay the prescribed examination fee and take a printout of the confirmation page. It is advised that the candidate should keep the confirmation page safe till the admission procedure gets over.

The pattern of exam pattern for different courses is given below:
- Type of Questions: Objective type multiple choice questions will be asked only.
- Marking Scheme: 4 Marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
- Negative Marking: There will be no negative Marking.
- Language of Exam: Question will be asked in both English and Hindi Language.

UPTU Admit Card 2022
The admit card will be made available online on the official website. Candidates will be able to download the admit card by entering their registration number. Details such as Candidate’s name, category, gender, sub-category, Father’s Name, rural weightage will be mentioned on the admit card.
It will be compulsory for the candidates to carry a hard copy of admit card at the exam center as no candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without a valid admit card. Please keep the admit card safe till the UPTU Admission 2022 procedure gets over as it will be required during the counselling process.
UPTU Entrance Exam Result 2022
UPTU or AKTU Entrance Exam 2022 Result will be declared in the first week of June 2021 tentatively on the official website. The separate merit lists will be prepared for every course on the basis of candidate’s performance in the entrance exam. The candidates can request for re-evaluation of answer sheets by pay a fee of Rs. 5000/- per page within 7 days of declaration of result.
The minimum cutoff marks required to be eligible in UPSEE 2022 exam will be 25 % for the general candidates and 20% for the SC/ST candidates. Qualified candidates will be called for counseling on the basis of merit for granting the UPTU Admission 2022.
UPTU Counseling 2022
All the qualified candidates will be called for AKTU counselling 2022 after the declaration of result. Candidates have to fill their choices of course and institute at the time of counselling. The verification of candidate’s documents will also take place during counselling procedure.
Applicants please note that the eligibility will be verified at the time of counselling, in case any candidate found ineligible, then his/her candidature will be cancelled. The allotment of the seats will be done at the time of counselling and allotment letters will be issued.
Note: 15 % of the total seats in all private colleges will be filled under management quota for which the admissions will be done as per the rules of particular college.
