ICAR AIEEA 2022: Application Form, Important Dates, Eligibility Criteria

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) 2022. It is a national level entrance exam that provides the selected candidates’ enrolment in UG, PG and Ph.D. courses. Separate exams for admission in undergraduate and postgraduate are conducted. NTA also organizes AICE-JRF/SRF (PGS) exam for admissions on Ph.D. courses. ICAR AIEEA 2022 Application Form

The application form for ICAR AIEEA 2022 will be released online on the official website of NTA. The candidates are supposed to fill the form online, entering all the required personal, educational and professional details. The scanned copy of the signature, photograph, and thumb impression will also be uploaded. Once the form is filled completely, the candidates need to take a printout of the form. This printout enclosed along with a copy of bank Challan (of the paid application fee) will be submitted to the following address via registered/speed post:

ICAR AIEEA 2022 Eligibility Criteria

For AIEEA UG 2022:

  • The candidates must pass the 10+2 exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Agriculture/Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • Candidates who wish to opt for stream-A should have studied Biology/Agriculture/Home Science and those wishing to appear for stream-B should have studied Mathematics.
  • The minimum marks scored in the qualifying exam must not be less than 50% aggregate (40% for SC/ST/PC category candidates).
  • Candidates appearing the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.
  • The applicant must be of Indian nationality and the minimum age should not be less than 16 years as on 31st August 2021.

For AIEEA PG 2022:

  • Those candidates who have done their Bachelor’s degree in the respective field from a recognized institution can apply for ICAR AIEEA 2022.
  • The degree must have been earned under the pattern of 10+2+5 (B.V. Sc. & A.H.), 10+2+4 and 10+6 years.
  • Those candidates who have passed a bachelor’s degree in the pattern of 10+2+3 can only apply for IARI Pusa and NDRI Karnal in some courses.
  • Final year appearing candidates can also apply.
  • The minimum mark secured by the candidates should be 60% (50% for SC/ST/PC categories).
  • The applicant must be of Indian nationality and the minimum age should not be less than 19 years as on 31st August 2021.

ICAR AIEEA 2022 Exam Pattern

Here are the important details about ICAR AIEEA exam pattern:

For AIEEA UG 2022:

The AIEAA UG 2022 will be conducted in offline mode. The duration of the paper will be 2:30 hours. There will be a total of 180 questions and all the questions will be of objective type. The mode of paper will be Hindi and English both. 4 marks will be awarded for each right answer and 1 mark will be deducted for the wrong answer.

For AIEEA PG 2022:

The AIEEA PG 2022 will be conducted offline. The exam duration will be of 3 hours. The paper will be divided into 2 sections: Section-A and Section-B. A total of 160 questions of maximum 650 marks will have asked in the exam. Section-A will carry 150 questions and Section-B will carry 10 questions.

The 150 questions will be from 20 major subject groups consisting of multiple-choice questions & the 10 questions will be of cross-matching type. For MCQ type questions, 4 marks will be provided and 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answer. For cross-matching question, 5 marks will be awarded to the candidates and 0.2 marks will be deducted for the wrong answer.

ICAR AIEEA 2022 Admit Card

The admit card for the ICAR AIEEA 2022 will be uploaded on the official website. The candidates who have submitted their application form successfully will be able to download their admit card. It is necessary that the candidates self-attest the admit card and affix a recent photograph, and provide signature and thumb impression in the space provided in the card. The candidate must carry the admit card along with them to the examination center on the day of the exam.

Results and Counseling

The ICAR AIEEA result 2022 will be published online and can be checked by the candidate from their personal login account created at the time of registration. The result will contain the overall merit rank and category rank of the candidate.

The qualified candidates will be eligible for attending the counseling and the schedule for the counseling will be notified by the authority. Candidates are required to attend the counseling in person and they have to bring the self-attested as well as original documents at the time of counseling.
